Trader Applications for 2025
Thank you for your interest in the Alresford Watercress Festival 2025.
Please be aware that the festival is held in the streets of New Alresford and as such the pitches are sometimes uneven and have no access to power or water.
Standard pitches are marked out as 3x3m areas and all traders should provide their own gazebo, tables etc. The pitches sold at this festival are a marked space only.
Due to the layout of the town there are some random size pitches available. These are caused by bus stops, access roads and laybys so are very limited. If you apply for one of these pitches additional fees apply as below.
Applications to trade at the 2025 festival are now OPEN and the closing date will be 31 January 2025.
After this date the festival committee will meet to review all applications side by side to ensure we offer a variety of returning and new traders to the visitors.
Risk and Fire Assessments are not compulsory on application but if you are successful, full documentation will be required.
A. Standard Trader - Regular Pitch
A 3m x 3m space. Gazebo & furniture to be provided by yourselves. No power. Selling goods or food to be taken home only.
£150.00 /year
B. Standard Trader - Midsize Pitch
A 4.5 x 3 m space. Gazebo & furniture to be provided by yourselves. No power. Selling goods to be taken home not for consumption at festival.

C. Standard Trader - Double Pitch
2 pitches selling different items ie family traders. No power. Provide own Gazebo & furniture

D. Food/Drink - Standard Pitch
Standard trader - a 3 x 3m space. Cover and furniture to be provided by yourselves. No power Selling food or drink to be consumed at the festival

E. Food/Drink - Standard inc Power
Standard trader - a 3 x 3m space. 2 pitches in Broad Street only Selling food or drink to be consumed at the festival

F. Food or Drink - Midsize Pitch
Limited - 1 pitch in Broad Street/1 in Station Road for Ice Cream. Food & Drink for consumption on the day. Slight odd size 4.5 m x 3 m

H. Ropley Park & Ride
Large open space - 2 traders max. Selling only coffee/cakes or ice cream in the Ropley Park & Ride area. No power

A 3m x 3m space. Selling hand made items - artisan traders only Located in the Station Car Park Donation from each pitch to The Watercress Line

3m x 3m space. Selling only recycled, eco, environmentally friendly or second hand goods located in Station Mill Car Park. No power

K. Charity Standard Pitch
Please apply for a recognised Charity Pitch - A 3m x 3m space. Gazebo& furniture to be provided by yourselves. No power.
